How to add your Exchange account to Outlook for Android

First make sure that Outlook is installed on your Android Phone. If not go to the Play Store and search for Outlook and then install it.  Once this is done, follow the steps below:

Step 1. Open Outlook. Tap Add Account.
Step 2. Enter your Work email address and tap Add Account. If this is a first set up.

Alternatively, tap on the email icon positioned at the top-left corner, then select the Outlook logo on the left. Input your Work email address and tap “Add Account.”

Step 3. Type in your Work email password. Tap Sign In.

Step 4. The screen below will indicate it’s all done. You can continue to add more, or tap Maybe Later to go to your Inbox.

Edit Settings

Mail

  1. Access the “Settings” menu on your Android Phone.
  2. Choose “Passwords & Accounts” and locate your Work Email Exchange account.
  3. Within the Exchange settings, select the account associated with your email address.
  4. Modify the following details as needed:
  • Server
  • Password
  • Description
  • Username
  1. Confirm the changes by selecting “Done.”

Outlook

  1. Launch the Outlook application.
  2. Navigate to your profile picture located in the top-left corner. Then, select “Settings” from the lower-left corner.
  3. In the “Mail Accounts” section, locate and tap on your Exchange Email account.
  4. Choose “Edit Login Information.”
  5. Activate “Use Advanced Settings” and proceed to modify the following:
  • Server
  • Password
  • Description
  • Username
  1. Select “Sign In” to complete the process.
